The Potrero Yard Modernization Project would make it easier for our teams to clean and maintain trolley buses that communities across the city rely on. As one-time pandemic relief funds run out, Muni faces a budget deficit of about $307 million. We are making cost saving reductions across the SFMTA to avoid devastating cuts to Muni service. A notice to proceed for the next phase of work, Segment B was issued last week to NTK Construction. Project staff is now gearing up for work slated to begin in January 2022. The L Taraval Improvement Project is a multi-agency collaboration partnered with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and the Department of Public Works to improve and upgrade the aging infrastructure.
